UPDATE: Speech Registration extended until noon Saturday
According to the Columbia homepage, those of you who’ve been sitting around trying to register for one of 200 available lottery seats to the Obama-McCain event will have until noon tomorrow to sit around some more. Best of luck!

weren’t there supposed to be close to 1,000?
200 seats for 4500 Columbians, 1000 Seasians, 2000 Barnardisses and 20000 Columbia Grad Students…. thats sounds great…
Shouldn’t there be more seating for the school students hosting the event?
Any word yet on the timing of the event itself?
8-9 pm. during primetime
last e-mail said 7, with ticketholders to be in their seats by 6:15 or 6:30.
