On March 3, the College Dems will host Joshua King for a conversation
on “Polioptics: The Art and Science of How We Are Influenced By Image
and Imagemakers.”  During the event, King will trace the visual
history of the presidency, from Washington to Obama, and discuss the
art and science of how we are influenced through visuals. The
conversation will draw King’s more than 20 years of communications and
production including his experience as former Director of Production
for Presidential Events in the Clinton White House. King is an expert
in political communications and the the art of the visual, and he has
been credited with introducing a new visual style for the president’s
public appearances and helping to modernize the methods by which the
White House projects the President’s message. The event will be held
at 9:00 in the Satow Room of Lerner Hall.
