Hot on the heels of Housing entering rooms in EC, Harmony, Shapiro and 47 Claremont, Carman residents just received an email on “the intermittent heating concerns.”  According to Carman dwellers, heating noises and inconsistent temperature have been problems for weeks now.  The long and short of the email is that Facilities will “conduct an inspection of each individual fan coil unit” which means entering individual rooms.  Be wise, and put things in drawers. Dear Carman Hall Residents,

In order to continue to address the intermittent heating concerns Carman hall, it has become necessary for the Facilities department to conduct an inspection of each individual fan coil unit.  Please be advised that it will be necessary to enter individual rooms. It would be appreciated if you move your personal belongings away from the heating units on the days Facilities is scheduled to be on your floor.

Currently the inspections are scheduled to begin next week Monday, February 14th. They will try to inspect two floors daily between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00pm. Please see schedule listed below:
