For those staying in New York over the break, our friends at InsideNewYork were kind enough to throw together this guide of events going on this weekend.

Can you read the writing on the wall?

Finally, Midterm madness has come to an end—or at least a pause—for the two days off we at Columbia so dearly treasure as Fall Break.  Step out of the Morningside Heights bubble and onto the 1 for some NYC exploration and debauchery!  As always, check out InsideNewYork for more!

Jeff Magnum at the Landmark Loew’s Jersey Theater
Former Neutral Milk Hotel frontman, Jeff Magnum, has made a few appearances in the past two years, but opportunities to hear his unearthly wail live are still pretty rare. In our opinion, it’s worth braving New Jersey public transit for the experience. Plus, tickets are relatively cheap.
Landmark Loew’s Jersey Theater. 54 Journal Sq., Jersey City. (201) 798-6055. 8PM. PATH to Journal Square Station. $35.
