Drinking With Bwog: The Good Old Days

It’s almost the end of the third quarter (we know Columbia doesn’t measure the year in quarters, but Bwog does so get over it) and whether you’re nearing the end of your time here or just realizing how close you are to getting ¼ of a college education under your belt, nostalgia abounds. Maybe it’s the suspiciously sunny weather reminding us that global warming and summer both loom in the distance. Whatever the cause, we’re here to get you out of the midterms slump with some reminiscing for times past…or for some of us, times never actually experienced except through panicked Google searches about our future university. Bwog presents, the 2010-2012 Memorial DWB.
- 1 pint Guinness
- 0.5 oz whiskey
- 0.5 oz Campari
- 0.5 oz Blue Curacao
Fill a shot glass with whiskey, Campari, and Curacao and drop into the glass of beer. Uncle Sam says drink up!
The Ahmedineshot (thanks to CUCR for this one)
- 1 part Devil’s Springs
- 1 part Bacardi 151
- 1 part Cranberry (“to give it that spent nuclear waste color”)
No directions were provided, but Bwog assumes you’re supposed to mix the ingredients and cackle evilly before gulping it down.
Operation Long-Ivy Iced Tea
- 1 part vodka
- 1 part tequila
- 1 part rum
- 1 part gin
- 1 part triple sec
- 1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
- 1 splash Mountain Dew
- 1 Adderall pill
Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Crush adderall and sprinkle on top as a garnish.
- 3.5 oz Grey Goose Vodka
- 0.5 oz Campari
- Splash of Olive Juice
- Olive garnish
Shake with ice, serve straight up, and garnish with an olive.
