Earlier this afternoon, Tom Harford, Dean of General Studies, sent an email to the GS student body on the passing of student Nicole Orrtung. Nicole was a fourth-year student in the dual BA program between Columbia and Sciences Po. She studied Euro-American relations and political science. Details on a memorial service and making donations in Nicole’s honor can be found in her obituary, in the Washington Post.

The email lists contact information for Counseling and Psychological Services, the Office of the University Champlain, and the GS Dean of Studies Office. CPS will be hosting a walk-in group counseling session tomorrow (November 29), from 6 to 8pm in Fairholm Lounge.
