#what makes a house a home?
Houses And Homes: Italy

Bwog wants to know what your living space was like for this past summer. Were you back home? Staying in New York? Did you find yourself (abroad?)?  Send us a photo of your view or room before you move out, along with a brief description of where you were to tips@bwog.com. To kick things off…

Where: Delianuova, Italy

Sight:the olde country

Sound: Old woman across the way clipping up laundry to dry, yelling at a little boy who keeps getting in her way.  Two men with loud snare drums marching through town preparing for the Ferragosto festival.

Smell: My grandmother is frying zucchini flowers downstairs in the kitchen and it smells like nature.

You Can’t Lose If You Don’t Play

We warned you, and now it’s here. Room Selection Registration begins today! You have a little more than a week to get together with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or none of you closest friends and submit to the vagaries of the housing lottery. The verdict on your gambit comes down from the Housing Gods the day after spring break. (Yes, spring break, something to look forward to! Midterms do not last forever.) If you planned ahead and are living in the LLC, room selection is on Thursday. Good luck, people, you need it.
