World’s Largest Menorah Lighting – In celebration of Hannukah, the lighting will continue nightly at the same time, except for Friday at 3:45.

Caroling at the Morgan – the Morgan Library & Museum hosts singers from Mannes and the New School
6:30pm – 8:30pm, The Morgan Library, 225 Madison Ave
Gingerbread Display – Le Meridien Hotel hosts this gingerbread house extravaganza, featuring creations made by New York bakeries. $1 buys you a vote for your favorite, with all proceeds going to City Harvest.

Cathedral Christmas at St John the Divine – Annual concert featuring both the children’s and adult’s choirs, the American Classical Orchestra plus solo harpist. The program includes the crowd-pleasing Part One and Hallelujah of Handel’s Messiah.

Major League Dreidel – live sets precede the tournament, a competition for serious gelt. Competitors must submit a “Spinner name”

Geminids Meteor Shower – producing up to 60 multicolored meteors per hour, the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting a special event. The viewing in Queens is sure to be much better than from campus.
7 pm, Fort Totten Park, Front Gate at 212th St and Cross Island Parkway
Wintuk – Cirque du Soleil’s winter tale about a boy’s quest to find snow. Runs through January, Wednesdays through Sundays.
