Engineers

  • Dean Peña-Mora visited! Greeted with a standing ovation, the SEAS Dean listened to updates on ESC’s work with CCE to improve opportunities for and communication with engineering undergrads. Council members asked him questions about the Engineering School in general and showed off their snazzy new banner.
  • Like CCSC, ESC voted to approve the newly formed Co-Sponsorship Committee giving funds to CCO, PDPsi, and CPU.
  • The Council discussed the possibility of moving Glass House Rocks to the fall next year. Some had concerns that this would not give student performance groups and the organizers enough time to prepare; others advocated for periodic, themed decorations in Lerner in lieu of the proposed Haunted House-themed fall GHR.
  • Sophomores: make your way over to the ESC 2013 study break tomorrow night! It’s comfort food themed! Expect grilled cheese, StressBusters, and trail mix bags (aka GORP for you COÖP-ers out there).
  • Student Council elections are coming up! Be active citizens! Run for E-Board or class council positions!
