Underwater Basket Weaving: Spring 2012

Written by

But what are you to do with those leftover slots in next semester’s schedule? Take awesome classes that have nothing to do with anything—the kind you’ll remember for the rest of your life, the kind you’ll tell your grandchildren about. Or maybe they end up being worthless. 5. I think

The entire anthropology department should be shut down, their useless postmodern/postcolonial/extreme fringe left whinging de-accredited, and their funds reallocated to Columbia College financial aid.

  6. Can someone

please tell Ryan Mandelbaum that his emails are not funny? They're just plain annoying. Nobody needs to read "Deep from the slums of Shaolin, it's the Class of '13 Email!" ugh

If I had to guess, it's probably because these classes have less prerequisites (most of the engineering courses with cool names have pretty heavy prerequisites, and I'd imagine that the same goes for the physical sciences as well).

  9. not a medievalist

what's wrong with visionary drama? sounds like a totally legit class. if you have problems with the mysticism, take it up with the middle ages, not the english dept.
