Procrastinate with delicious vegetables!

Looking for a little pick-me-up after that chemistry/ biology/ history/ underwater basket weaving midterm kicked your ass? Look no further than the Columbia Greenmarket! Extract your nose from your textbooks, take a much needed study break, and go support your community! As always, the greenmarket is open year-round on Sundays and Thursdays and accepts credit, debit, and EBT.

There is food scrap collection for compost every Sunday, from 8am to 1 pm, and textile recycling every Sunday from 8am to 3pm.

Here are the highlights for today:

  • Our farmers know the importance of a good breakfast! You can pick up all of your essential breakfast needs at the market…Ronnybrook milk, Millport Dairy eggs, churned sweet cream butter and thick cut bacon,a baguette from Buon Pane or 12 grain bread from Meredith’s to make perfect toast — even better topped with Beth Farm’s Kitchen jam. Stop by the info tent around noon where we’ll be cooking up Apple Cider French Toast, featuring market ingredients.
  • Sign up for our Refer-A-Friend program! Help us grow the market and be eligible to win prizes. Stop by the information table to pick up referral cards for your friends, neighbors, colleagues and roommates. They’ll receive a cup of tasty, hot apple cider when they bring your referral card to the market, and you’ll be entered into a raffle to win a $50 market shopping spree!
