Slam dunk the funk

This past week was marked by highs and lows for Columbia Athletics. Men’s basketball suffered a crushing loss to Princeton on Friday night only to come back and slap Penn 58-41 the next day with notable performances by Grant Mullins, Brian Barbour, and Mark Cisco. Wrestling lost a heartbreaker match to Harvard and similarly came back to close out regular season with a decisive win over Brown. Meanwhile, Uju Ofoche won the women’s indoor long jump title for the third time at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship, and football hosted an awards banquet. Both swimming & diving teams have championships this weekend, and the squash teams have individual nationals.
