Tonight’s personals feature Andrea Garcia-Vargas and Julia Wu. If either lady strikes your fancy, email personals@bwog.com for your ticket to love.

Name, Year, School, Major: Andrea García-Vargas, 2013, Columbia College, English and Creative Writing

Preference: Girl for guys most of the time, once in a while girl for girls with short hair, and a quirky, feminist attitude (read: any girl who is my doppelgänger).

Hometown: Here’s my spiel: born in Bogotá, Colombia, moved to Dublin, Ohio when I was 1, moved to Switzerland when I was 11, moved back to Ohio when I was 14. The backstory: my dad’s a professional coffee taster, a job which unexpectedly can take you and your family all over the world. Technically, my “hometown” is Dublin seeing as I’ve lived there the most time…but my heart lies with Bogotá.

Your dream date in seven words or fewer: Thrift shopping, foreign/indie films, pita with labneh

What redeems you as a human being? I’m very honest. I still read for fun. I like adventures. Also, I am a Speccie.

Obsessive book series of choice: Anne of Green Gables

Library room of choice: Floor 2 of the Butler Stacks. All the gender, queer, and sexuality-related books you should imagine. Mmm.

What you think the sexiest animal is: Bonobo

Your guilty pleasure song: Too many to count. “Whistle” by Flo Rida is my most recent one. My one gripe with that is that he’s comparing his dick to a whistle…like, dude, that’s not flattering.

Do you watch “Girls” ironically or unironically? Unironically, but I’d rather watch Pretty Little Liars or Skins.

Historical hottie: William Barclay Parsons, the dude who co-founded Spec. He must’ve been a total cutie when he was young, and his little newspaper project made my life so much more meaningful 150 years later. But he was friends with Nicholas Murray Butler, so idk.

Name, Year, School, Major: Julia T. Wu, in which the T stands for T.rex; 2013, Barnard, French

Preference: I dont want no scrubs. But if you really have to know, Girl for a guy.

Hometown: New York City, born and bred. Queens reppin’

Your dream date in seven words or fewer: Surprise me.

What redeems you as a human being? I like to procrastinate by cooking and baking, and then giving it all away to literally anyone in need of a slice of banana bread or a bowl of something hot. I pour a stiff but often surprisingly delicious drink. I also have a twin sister, a three legged turtle and a dinosaur onesie.

Obsessive book series of choice: The Boxcar Children, holla.

Library room of choice: My unusually large room in da penthouse of Barnard’s 620.

What you think the sexiest animal is: link.

Guilty pleasure song: One Day More from Les Miserables. Or Da Mystery of Chessboxin’ by Wu Tang Clan. It’s a tossup.

Do you watch “Girls” ironically or unironically? I don’t watch Girls, I already go to Barnard.

Historical hottie: Nikola Tesla, cause apparently he was a good guy.
