Food for whatever your celebrating

Just because Spring Break is over doesn’t mean that you have to stop gorging yourself on delicious food! Pretend like you’re still on break with a trip to the Columbia Greenmarket. But wait! There’s more! This week the food is extra yummy so you can make your Passover/ Easter/ regular weekend crazy delicious. As always, the greenmarket is open year-round on Sundays and Thursdays and accepts credit, debit, and EBT.

There is food scrap collection for compost every Sunday, from 8am to 1 pm, and textile recycling every Sunday from 8am to 3pm.

Here’s the highlight for this week:

  • We will be celebrating Spring holidays this week at the Greenmarket. Passover and Easter are a time for both traditional and new recipes. Stop by the info tent for Spring recipes, including Devilled Eggs with Beet Relish and Apple Charoset. There will also be info sheets on DIY Natural Egg Dying tips.
