It’s Valentine’s Day, and Senior Staff Writer Ramisa Murshed has a lot to get off her chest.

Hey,

It’s me.

The first time I laid my eyes on you, I was intrigued. Once I got to know you better, it was like love at first bite. You were cheesy, delectable, with just the right amount of sodium. I’d never met anyone else like you before. I was entranced for hours, but soon, my friends called upon me to leave. They wanted to go to 1020, but all I could think about was you. I heeded the request from my friends and headed to 1020. No matter how many new people I met that night, your taste was ingrained on my tongue.

I returned to JJ’s many-a-time, hoping to run into you. To my disappointment, you rarely ever showed your face. I thought that maybe my initial interest in you may have scared you off. One lucky day, however, it happened again. I saw you. I don’t know if you noticed, but I nearly had a heart attack when I saw your face again. I was a bit embarrassed, to be frank, but I just couldn’t help myself. I was encountering you, the love of my life, once more.

You might not know my name or even the fact that I exist, but I just want you to know that I’m in love with you, and nothing can change that. It’s Valentine’s Day, and I’m sure plenty of other girls have been all over you. But I’m begging you, JJ’s fried mac and cheese triangles, please give me a chance. I’m not like the rest of them. I can make you happier than you could ever be if you would just come with me.

Love,

Your secret admirer
