Bwogline: On Wednesday, US Senate Democrats attempted and failed to pass legislation that would protect abortion rights nationwide before the SCOTUS ruling. Fifty-one senators were opposed, and 49 were in support, with one Democrat Senator Joe Manchin voting alongside Republicans to oppose. This comes after a leaked draft ruling which suggested that the Supreme Court may be working to overturn Roe v. Wade, a nearly 50-year-old decision that granted a right to abortion in the US. (NYT)
Study Tip: Reword important main findings from your readings and notes for better understanding. Academic texts can be wordy and unclear.
Music of the Day: “Pyramids” by Frank Ocean is nearly 10 minutes long and excellent. It’s perfect for a long study break where you, like the song itself, can experience about five different vibes in that period.
Procrastination Tip: Revisit an old game you used to play in simpler times. It feels great to rekindle an old flame. Looking at you, Subway Surfer.
Overseen/Overheard: Today, I saw someone in the airport dip a banana in their iced coffee before they ate it. I don’t have the answers. It might be great, but I doubt it.
