Bwog’s gears were turning during Bacchanal yesterday.
After witnessing a wildly successful 2022-23 Bacchanal, full of Borg puns, abandoned raincoats, and blasting music, Bwog has decided to get in on the action. We saw how the Columbia community came together under the cosmic force of Doechii and staved-off storms. We want a taste of that power. We’re ready for it to go straight to our collective heads.
So we’re hosting Columbia’s newest concert: Bwogcchanal. Come one, come all, and listen to the beautiful voices of our staff writers and editors. We’re gonna sing some songs, do some dances–you know, all very professional, artistic stuff. Plus, we’ve been keeping up with the Eras tour, so get ready for some tasteful Taylor references. We may be student journalists first, but we’re pop stars second.
While we couldn’t land the Low steps, we’ve got the second-best venue campus has to offer: Lerner 510. If every Columbia student abandons their corporeal form and enters the room as intangible spirits, we can all fit. The acoustics in Lerner 510 are great, we assume.
Come to Lerner 510 at 9 pm tonight, where Bwog will put on the most dazzling concert you’ve ever had the honor of attending. It’s the first annual Bwogcchanal, and it’s gonna be a great time.
As a reminder, please leave your physical form at the door, as Lerner 510 is a tight squeeze otherwise.
