Happening in the World: India was successfully able to carry out their first series of key test flights in light for a planned trip to space in 2025. After a failed attempt to land on the moon in 2019, India in September joined the United States, the Soviet Union and China as only the fourth country to achieve the milestone. This successful test launch marks India as an established aeronautic and space powerhouse and signals a go ahead for the country’s plans to collaborate with the United states for a project at the International Space Station. Happening In the US: Former US president Donald Trump’s gag order has been temporarily frozen by US District Judge Tanya Chutkan. Judge Chutkan said she was issuing the administrative stay of the gag order earlier this week to give the parties more time to brief her on the former president’s request to pause the order while his appeal of it plays out.The gag order, itself, has limited scope and simply prohibits Trump from making certain types of statements about the special counsel’s team or potential witnesses, including any comments that directly targeted court personnel, potential witnesses or the special counsel and his staff. Happening in NYC: The Manhattan Vintage Show is coming to town. The event kicked off last night and will run its course all through the weekend. The vintage show happens three times a year and has elements of a museum exhibition, a shopping extravaganza, and a fashion show rolled into one.This year, more than 90 vendors are expected to display their finest goods.
