After a two-week break, This Week In Bworts is back and better than ever!

Highlights:

In their first Ivy League series of the season, the Columbia baseball team defeated Harvard 6-4. On the plate, Hunter Snyder (CC ’27) led the effort, scoring two runs for the Lions. On the mound, Thomas Santana (CC ’26) and Brandon Madrigal (CC ’24) allowed four hits but struck out six. The Lions are now 2-0 on the year.

For the first time since 2019, the Columbia softball team took down Princeton in a tight 4-3 game on Sunday. Princeton showed a decisive lead for the first four innings, 3-0. But, in the bottom of the fourth, Cami Neal (CC ’25) turned it around for the Lions with a shot over the fence. Neal also scored a run in the fifth inning and was instrumental in the eventual four points the Lions would rack up. The Lions are now 2-1 to open the Ivy League slate.
