I love Abbott Elementary. I mean, how could you not? If you’ve yet to watch it, please do. With season four coming out in seven very short days, this is very fitting. Happy Abbott Elementary Month! My Thursday mornings are finally going to have meaning again.

Season One:

Season one of Abbott Elementary was one of the greats. A lot was going on but in a good way. All the actors truly gave it their all; it was something new. Everyone was confused as to what this show was. That’s why season one is GS. GS is honestly the school that gets the most questions. Who are these mysterious students? Like season one, GS students grind hard and do not get as much recognition as they deserve.

Season Two:

Season two was okay. The cast was known, and they were starting to gain more popularity. The episodes got funnier and worth the weekly wait. However, it’s honestly a forgetful season. I don’t remember much of what happened in season two, and it didn’t add anything new. It was just there. That’s why season two is SEAS. I have yet to meet a SEAS kid. I know they exist, but right now, they’re in the ether.

Season Three:

Season two brought a lot of new viewers to Abbott Elementary, which led to its subsequent Emmy nominations and wins. While there were many funny jokes in this season as well, it could have been better. The potential was there for a great season, but it felt like a do-over of season two. The show got a bit cocky and didn’t put enough effort into this season. That’s why season three is CC. Why does every CC kid manage to talk about Lit Hum and UW in every conversation? Why does every CC first-year try to distance themselves from Barnard, SEAS, and GS? Season three has its moments of being a great season, and CC has its moments as well.

Season Four:

While season four has not come out yet, the anticipation is there. She’s the new it girl on the block and has the potential to be everything and anything. The trailer is already just so funny, and given the apparent ringworm crisis they’re dealing with, it’s fitting to give this season over to Barnard while it fights its own Whooping Cough crisis.

Barnard girlies being top tier per usual.
