  • On Thursday, January 19, from 5 to 6 pm EST, Barnard will host a webinar about Break Through Tech AI, a free, 18-month extracurricular program hosted at Cornell Tech that helps college women (trans and cis), nonbinary, and other underrepresented groups in tech gain the skills they need to get jobs in the fastest-growing areas of tech: data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Applications for the 2023-24 cohort will open in January. At Thursday’s webinar, students can learn more about this unique program and hear key details about the application process.   • Also on Thursday, January 19, from 6:15 to 7:45 pm, is the Zoom panel “Exploring the Ethics of Maternal Healthcare Post-Roe,” hosted by Columbia’s Barbra Bluestone Rothschild, M.D., and featuring Dr. Charlene Collier, Director and Co-Founder of the Mississippi Perinatal Quality Collaborative.   • Also on Thursday, January 23, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, the French-American music quartet Mobke will be performing in Columbia’s Buell Hall. Mobke is a French-American quartet with two men and two women musicians from different generations who bring complementary experiences and styles to their music. They will be playing original and improvised jazz music. The concert will take place in Buell Hall’s East Gallery.
