Happening in the World:
Russia is legally banned “blatant disrespect” (definition up to interpretation) and the spreading of so-called fake news throughout the country. Starting this week, repeat offenders of the crime can be sentences up to 15 days in jail. Putin ain’t playin.
Happening in the US:
16 students at Temple University have contacted mumps, an incurable illness with symptoms of fatigue, fever, and swollen salivary glands on the side of the face. Stay away from Philly y’all.
Happening in NYC:
Were you that weird kid who was a little too into dinosaurs? Me too. It’s just been released that the Bronx Zoo will be opening “Dinosaur Safari” in April, where visitors can roam with 40 realistic and life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. Holy shit.
Happening on Campus:
Godspell, a “fun, energetic ensemble show that celebrates the bonds that connect us all” will be performed Thursday March 7th through Saturday March 9th at 9 PM in the Glicker-Milstein Theater in Diana. Tickets are available here.
Fun Fact of the Day:
In Switzerland it is illegal to own just one guinea pig, as they are social animals.
