These locust swarms have spread to other countries in East Africa, like Ethiopia, and in all affected countries, the locusts pose a threat to food security. These insects can eat its own weight in food daily, and this consumption of vegetation seriously threatens Somalia’s food supply. (BBC)

Happening in NYC: A patient at the Bellevue Hospital Center may have the Wuhan Coronavirus. According to an announcement by New York City health officials on Saturday, the patient’s symptoms and travel history from China may be indicative of the Coronavirus. They also administered tests on this patient for common illnesses and influenza, all of which came back negative. The Coronavirus test will take up to 48 hours, so stay alert. (NYT)
