Happening in the US: The World Health Organization has warned that the rapid acceleration of CO-VID 19 cases in the United States may cause it to become the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic. This comes as President Trump and senior officials have pledged to revisit federal guidelines on self-isolation in 2 weeks. (The Guardian)

Happening in New York: Mayor De Blasio has freed 300 more people from New York City jails. This is in addition to 75 prisoners already released in the hope of curbing the spread of COVID-19. (NY Daily News)
