The barrage of housing group Facebook posts never ends, and staff writer Nicki Camberg has compiled some highlights found in the wild.
- Me and my friend (@Satan!! Like literal Satan) are looking for a third person to join our housing group!! You’d be living in the microwave with three other people, one of whom is your ex. It can get a little hot in there, but that’s what fans are for! We are super considerate roommates except we throw death metal parties from 2 to 6 am every day, but we are so quiet you totally won’t notice! uwuwuwu dm us!
- In need of a prefrosh (a highschool prefrosh, aka a current eighth grader) to fill in for a spot in our housing group! We’re aiming for Carlton Arms, not the dorm though. We want to live on our friend Carlton’s arms. Msg me if you’re interested!
- Hey! Consider joining me and my friends (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello) in our suite next year! It’s a great open space, sometimes we have rat and smell issues but it’s so close to campus you won’t mind. Out of privacy, I’m not gonna post the address here, but it’s just beneath the manhole cover on Broadway.
- A fun-loving group of gals searching for a 12th person to join our suite in an octuple!! We love plants and are really good chefs and will give you some food! Last night we made Beef Gurewitch and it was delicious! Just a warning, sometimes we get our hobbies mixed up and might accidentally feed you dirt but it’s such fun!
- In need of a roommate for my fully furnished apartment on 125th, the only issue is that it’s back in 1978 so you’d need to have a time machine to room with me. Accepting applications on MySpace, looking forward to hearing from you.
- I’m a neat and accommodating roommate, the CDC reviewed my dorm last year as “a hazard” and “uninhabitable for living beings to survive in,” so let me know if you want to join me in the lottery! My number is infinity and I’m aiming for the closet in Prezbo’s guest room.
- Message me if you are interested in living with me in a cute little apartment in Park Place. The only downside is the size (1.5″ x 2.5″) as it’s actually Park Place from the board game Monopoly, but we can make it work!
- Rising senior (citizens) in need of a sixth person to join our housing group!
