Throughout the weekend, the two buildings have seen a war break out, fuelled by Target having a 3-for-2 deal on nerf guns. Students have ambushed each other, with large multi-floor firefights breaking out in both John Jay and Hartley, and many an innocent student being caught in the crossfire. 

If you’re a resident of either one of these residence halls, it’s time to arm yourself. You don’t want to be caught unarmed in the middle of a firefight, or worse, without a weapon when someone goes to your room to ambush you. When the aspiring warlords of John Jay and Hartley come for you, you better be prepared.
