Do the NPCs in your life actually live next door to you? Here’s a playlist to combat them (mentally).

Unable to think for themselves, “Non-Playable Characters” live amongst us. They are who you talk to your roommate about, who you think about while scanning Broadway, and, let’s face it, who you write home about.

But what happens when these people go from comically rigid sidewalk person, to your next door neighbor who just. wont. quit.

My solution? A playlist.

Take the power back and insert yourself into the narrative. Dig deep into the main character that lives within you, because if you get into your own head enough—the NPCs may just disappear.

The following songs go to great lengths to occupy your mind and will hopefully distract you from Stephan, the finance bro, whose only reason for being is Drake.
