You know what I’m talking about. Editor’s note: mentions of sexual violence.
Bwogline: E. Jean Carroll, a former magazine writer, has successfully sued former President Donald Trump for sexual abuse and defamation. The Manhattan jury found that Mr. Trump sexually abused Ms. Carroll at the Bergdorf Goodman store 30 years ago, and defaming her on his social media platform, Truth Social, calling her case a “complete con job” and “a Hoax and a lie.” Ms. Carroll was awarded $5 million in damages, and is the first successful lawsuit regarding Mr. Trump’s alleged sexual misconduct. Study tip: Room 503 in Milstein: no one but faculty uses it, and when they don’t book it, it’s always open. Plus there’s light and outlets.
Music of the Day: Maneater by Nelly Furtado, Bad Girls by M.I.A., Hey, Mickey! by Baby Tate, and Monster High Fright Song. Just play these on repeat and you will finish your take home finals just in time for the deadline.
Procrastination Tip: Sit in the sun and yearn for summer. Alternatively, google Baby Yoda and see what happens.
Overseen/Overheard: The Baby Yoda floating upside down on the John Jay ceiling. So silly. I can’t stop thinking about it.
