KCST’s “Much Ado About Nothing”

  • The King’s Crown Shakespeare Troupe’s fall performance, next weekend in the Lerner Black Box Theatre, is the classic comedy Much Ado About Nothing, a tale of misunderstandings, marriages, and more. Tickets are available now!

CMTS’ “Next To Normal”

  • November 17-20, Glicker Milstein Theatre
  • The Columbia Musical Theatre Society’s fall performance is the musical Next To Normal, a musical about how one suburban household copes with crisis and mental illness. Performances will take place next weekend; check the show’s Instagram page for information about tickets posted later today!

MFA Acting Thesis: “Small Tragedy”

  • November 16-19, Lenfest Center 
  • The Columbia University School of the Arts MFA Acting Cohort of 2024 presents Small Tragedy by Craig Lewis, directed by Danny Sharron. This powerful comedy follows the way backstage relationships and global politics suddenly collide during an amateur performance of Oedipus Rex. Tickets are available now.

Art + Life: Hernan Diaz

  • November 13, 7 pm, the Lantern
  • The next installment of Art + Life, Columbia’s undergraduate Creative Writing program’s intimate conversation series, features Hernan Diaz, author of Trust, which won the 2023 Pulitzer Prize and is currently being developed into an HBO series.

Art Lecture: María Magdalena Campos-Pons

Frantz & Madden ’92 Emerging Art Fellow Visual Arts Talk by Eva Barto

  • Artist Eva Barto, founder of the Rights for Art Workers collective La Buse, will deliver this year’s Frantz & Madden ‘92 Emerging Art Fellow lecture at Barnard.
