There is a floating block of ice out there the size of London.

Bwogline: Scientists finally have good numbers to describe the true scale of the world’s biggest iceberg, A23a. Using satellite technology, scientists were finally able to measure the iceberg, which first showed up on the Antarctic Coast in 1986. The iceberg, is drifting beyond the White Continent and is making its way through the Southern Ocean. The measured the iceberg to be twice the area of Greater London and has an average thickness of over 920 feet. (BBC)
