Happening in the World: A British Army doctor has won the title of best international mullet at the World Mullet Championships. Dr Alastair Bush, from Dorset, has said he is “super proud” to have won the trophy. Dr Bush started growing his mullet during lockdown in October 2021, when he could not go to the barber shop. (BBC)
Happening in the US: U.S President Joe Biden has said he may have skipped a re-election bid if he were not facing Donald Trump, adding that the Republican posed a serious threat to the country. The President’s aides think that Trump will cement his status as a frontrunner for the Republican Presidential nomination in the coming weeks. (Reuters)
