Happening in NYC: The MTA is piloting the usage of subway barriers at the 191st Street Station. The barriers are meant to be a low-cost effort to prevent passenger injuries as they transport on platforms in the station. The move is part of a larger project still in its experimental phase, according to the MTA chair. The West 8th Street and Clark Street stations are next to be included in the pilot process.
