Singles are dwindling, guaranteed list is growing: welcome to day two of the 123 lottery.

With just 204 rooms remaining in the lottery and a whopping 311 groups still waiting for their selection time, things are looking about as dire as they always do for the remainder of the lottery going forward. That said, don’t lose hope; dear reader, plenty of student favorites are still on the table!

What’s gone: As of yesterday, Sulz Tower, Cathedral Gardens, 110 singles, all 121 rooms, and all studios were taken by rising seniors. Today marked the end of availability for single rooms in the 600s—condolences to all affected by this development. But fear not! You could be one of the lucky lottery number holders to snatch up one of the last three Plimpton singles available. Or, even better, the LAST double remaining in Hewitt.

What’s left: There are 48 singles up for grabs in Hewitt, 28 singles left in Elliot, and three coveted singles remaining in Plimpton. Also, doubles galore in the remaining buildings!

  • 9 doubles left in Sulz Tower
  • 19 doubles in Plimpton
  • 1 double in Hewitt
  • 6 doubles in Elliot
  • 6 doubles at CG
  • 13 doubles in 620
  • 15 doubles left in 616
  • 22 doubles left in 600
  • 20 doubles left in 110

Looking Forward: Tomorrow, the rest of the rising juniors and extremely lucky rising sophomores will be able to pick into housing. A cumulative 25 rooms were left unpicked in yesterday and today’s lottery. Bwog is forecasting a significant decrease in singles (sorry, hopeful sophomores) and an increase in demand for the 600s. Best of luck to everyone tomorrow!
