Bwogline: At Brazil’s famous Copacabana Beach, Madonna put on a free show as the final stop of her The Celebration Tour. She performed her classic hits, such as “Like A Prayer,” “Like A Virgin,” and “Hung Up,” and she honored those who have lost their lives to AIDS. Brazilian artists Anitta and Pabllo Vittar joined her. An estimated 1.6 million people attended the concert—ten times more attendance than her highest recorded attendance record of 130,000 in 1987.
