I really hope this is someone else’s niche crossover.

I am currently writing this on a Tuesday night, a week after the finale of Dancing With The Stars, and I am missing my DWTS Tuesdays. So, to make up for the season being over, I decided to combine my two favorite things: Bwog and Dancing With The Stars!

Butler: Joey Graziadei

Now, Joey was the winner of the season, and honestly, I could not be mad because I saw it coming. If you ask most people where they go to study, they will say Butler, even though it is not the best library, like how Joey was not the best dancer on the show. Joey was solid and got great scores each week, so there’s no need to knock his dancing, but like Butler, there are just other, better options. So, if you wanted a safe bet, you voted for Joey Graziadei to win the season, and your favorite library is probably Butler.

Gottesman: Ilona Maher

Gottesman Library is the library in Teacher’s College, and it has a lot going on, just like Ilona Maher. For example, the first floor has treadmills you can walk or run on while you are doing work, which just feels very Ilona-like. Also, this library has such a nice feel and welcoming vibe to it, possibly because of all the children’s books, but this is how Ilona was on the show. And, just like how Ilona improved over the season, Gottesman really grows on you over time, and I have found myself spending more time there each week.

Study Room 323 or 315 in Milstein: Chandler Kinney

Do not get me started on the fact that Chandler was robbed of her deserved win because that is beside the point. These two study rooms are my actual favorite places to do work on both campuses, and I’ve honestly been gatekeeping them because I can never get a spot. These rooms are underrated and somewhat unknown to the general public, just like Chandler. On a deeper level, if more people appreciated these rooms, they might even be considered the overall best place to study on campus, but they are overlooked and underrated, so they will never be voted the best, and that is why Chandler placed third. (No, I’m not over it.)

Milstein: Stephen Nedoroscik

Chandler might ‘be’ the best place to study in Milstein, but Stephen is representative of Milstein as a whole. Stephen was known for being a bit ahead of the music a lot of the time, but when he was on beat, he did okay, improving over the course of the show. Like Stephen, Milstein was just a bit off for me at the beginning of the year, but it has grown on me, and I have come to appreciate the green chairs in the corner of the second floor and the long desk on the third floor. Stephen and Milstein are both solid choices that really have their good moments.

Avery: Danny Amendola

It was a bit shocking that Danny made it to the finals, honestly. He did have two good dances, and they really carried him to the final for some reason, but overall, the number of lifts he did really distracted from the fact that his dancing skills were not up to par. Similar to Danny, Avery is fine when you can get a spot on the first floor, distracted by the nice architecture and stacks of books, but as soon as you go downstairs, you realize the library is quite underwhelming and a bit disappointing.

Overall, it is clear that Chandler and the Milstein study rooms are the best and deserve a win. So, next year, everyone, please watch and vote, and if someone could make a DWTS club so we can have watch parties, that would be great.
