Deputy Editor Sam Mezrich and Guest Photographer Jasper Dabbs memorialize a historical site.
I love my suite. I love my suitemates. Barnard, why must you make us move out of this beautiful home??? Due to this travesty, the suite must live on only in our memories, and on bwog.com of course.
Part 1: The Hallway

The image on the left shows four of the divas j chilling in the hallway. This is often where we stand and gossip circa 2 am. The image in the middle is all of our shoes. We are technically a shoes-off household, but some of the suitemates follow that rule more than others. The image on the right is our living room. We have a couch and floor cushions, which we refer to as the dog bed. If you ever find yourself needing to crash at 2Diva, the dog bed is where you’re sleeping. On the walls of our living room are paintings created by our beloved ex-suitemate and Bwog Senior Staff Writer Vivi. She is abroad. We miss her very much.
Part 2: The Bathroom

Here we are, standing in the bathroom. Our bathroom has a few issues. First and foremost, we have a fruit fly problem. Katherine set up some traps, and since then we have caught probably near to 100 fruit flies. But, this has not stopped them since “they fuck like rabbits,” as Lisa says. Secondly, our bathroom is now covered in black dye. Shoutout to Jess.
Part 3: The Kitchen

The kitchen has the same issue as the bathroom: hella flies. We live directly above Shake Shack, so there you go. We have thrown many a function in this kitchen, and thus it is filled with great memories and dirty dishes (not pictured). We also have the EVERY SECOND COUNTS sign from the bear which I put up so that Lisa feels the pressure every time they cook something. I would also like the readers to know that Lisa has started a fire in this room.
Part 4: Lisa and Hannah’s Room

Lisa and Hannah have the biggest room in the suite, and it looks out onto Broadway. Hannah’s bed is pictured up top, and it features a cool blue aesthetic. You can kind of see Hannah’s desk, where she often is when I come in to harass her. Hannah also has a serious Sonny Angel collection. Look how beautiful it is! Below is Lisa’s bed. Lisa is giving an emo aesthetic with the FOB and MCR posters, but game respects game.
Part 5: Katherine and Emily’s Room

Katherine and Emily’s room (formerly Vivi and Isabelle’s room) is the second biggest room in the suite, and also looks out onto Broadway. The door sign shows how much our suite loves bisexuals. Fun fact, four out of six of us are lesbians, but you’ll have to guess which four. The vibe of Katherine and Emily’s room is bright and colorful, and this is where the most devious housing lottery plans are hatched.
Part 6: Sam and Jess’s Room

Our masterpiece pictured in fish-eye. This is the smallest room in the suite, and it’s shafted (but it’s not that bad—it’s honestly a blessing because I hate sunlight in the morning, and this way we never have to put the curtains up and down). We worked very hard on this room, and it has been the site of many hardcore naps, debriefs, and SWBs (iykyk). I will be devastated to move out of this room.
There you have it. The greatest suite in all of Barnard housing. My suitemates, if you are reading this, you are a gift to my life! And Barnard, if you are reading this, please send someone to fix the fly problem.
