New Claude product just dropped, victory for the Democrats in New Jersey, and a social book event is coming up!

Happening Off Campus: Anthropic Labs recently launched their new model and product, Claude Opus 4.7 and Claude Design for its subscribers. This new AI product allows users to create more visual work, like designs, presentation slides, and prototypes. Product managers, marketers, and even founders and account executives can benefit from design work. (Anthropic)

Happening Near Campus: Analia Meija won the special election in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District against the Republican Joe Hathaway, gaining a victory for the Democratic Party. The daughter of Colombian and Dominican immigrants vowed to fight against President Trump’s proposal on tax breaks for billionaires, cuts for education funding, and strict immigration policies. Meija led with a huge advantage, according to the New Jersey Division of Elections: 21,000 more Democrats cast early ballots than Republicans. (Gothamist)

Happening On Campus: Love to read and meet new people? University Life is organizing a social event for students to talk about their favorite books and genres over boba tea. This event is part of their Find a Friend series to encourage students to make new connections. Come and share your book recommendations with fellow bookworms! Learn more about the event here
