Happening off-Campus: France and the United Kingdom have abandoned a deal on migration that allowed Britain to return migrants who had entered the country illegally in exchange for those who had applied officially. The plan start in the summer of 2025, and was intended to last for one year, but was extended through September. France decided to end the “one in, one out” deal, citing burden on management of immigration and the border. (New York Times)

Happening near Campus: A man was charged with identity theft and criminal impersonation after posting fake QR code stickers near parking spots in an attempt to steal credit card numbers. Police found over 60 of these stickers, which led to a website with a ParkNYC logo asking for credit card numbers and license plate details. (Gothamist)
