Vine Opens. Commence Sake Bombing.
It seems like just last week Vine: Sushi & Sake was a mere creeper in our consciousness, but today it arrives in full verdant bloom. Go ahead and get excited-it’s doing fine business during tonight’s dinner hours, and it’s already garnered one positive review. Plus, its location is perfectly accessible even when there are eight inches of freak March snow on the ground.
For those of you who haven’t picked up one of its ubiquitous takeout menus spread around your lobby, Vine offers seven tiny accordian pages’ worth of sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, curry, and ramen. There’s also a special Columbia lunch box that swaps out the normal box’s vegetable tempura for a salad, no doubt because of college students’ well-documented aversion to fatty foods. So get there before it becomes the next Pinkberry and you never want to hear its name again.

why are you talking about this as if it’s a new restaurant? it is just swish with a new name. the menu is even in the same font!
it’s so much better than swish was.
haven’t been yet. inquiring minds want to know.
it’s just much tastier
no shabu shabu! that was the best part!
Do they sell sushi here?

so many happy comments on this post compared to most others. food brings love :)
Does “Vine” have bubble tea??
no but they have bottomless mugs of thunderbird.
figure out if this is owned by the swish people and remind us why swish was shut down in the first place? thanks.
Vine is obviously a reincarnation of Tomo, rather than a nouveau Cafe Swish. Can’t you tell by the bad service, worse food, and unimaginative menu?
bubble tea at vine?
there’s no bubble tea. all of the good drinks they had at swish are now over at ollie’s
ps they do give you free tea though. :)
SHABU SHABU! THIS IS A TRAVESTY
