In an email sent out this Thursday, Barnard notified the community of upcoming changes to the College’s COVID-19 policies which will eliminate surveillance testing and the vaccine mandate starting May of this year.
In an email sent out Thursday morning, Columbia notified the community of a future shift in University COVID-19 policy which will end the vaccine mandate and no longer require affiliates to report positive test results to the University.
Barnard announced that their mandatory COVID-19 surveillance testing will end on December 23, 2022.
In an email sent to students early this evening, Barnard announced that masking indoors will be optional, though highly recommended, starting October 10 and updates to flu vaccine and COVID-19 booster availability for students.
Starting October 3, all testing will now be done through Color, a new platform that will allow for self-facilitated testing and greater flexibility.
Columbia University released updated plans for COVID-19 safety protocols this afternoon, including classroom masking through September.
