The Pentagon, which earlier this month asked many Coast Guard and Army veterans to repay their enlistment bonuses, has reversed their position and is no longer attempting to reclaim that money (New York Times).

On Wednesday, Wikileaks released files that included a memo from a Bill Clinton aide. The memo suggests that there may have been connections between the Clinton Foundation, which the Clinton family runs, and Clinton’s personal income (Washington Post).

As the World Series continues, theories about the effects that this historic series could have on the election continue to grow. There is some relatively scientific evidence that if the Cleveland Indians win, it could provide a boost for Clinton’s campaign.
