    I am Jack's smirking revenge.

  2. walid shoebat

    isn't worth our time:

"You see who did Sept. 11 and the Towers—that's real Islam," said
Zachariah Anani, a former Lebanese militia fighter. "The rest are not
    real Muslims."

"The most Islamic fundamentalism education I received was not in
Palestine. America is ground zero for fundamentalism," said Shoebat,
whose voice rose in a powerful crescendo as he railed against the idea of America pulling out of Iraq. "Pull your military out of Iraq and Islam will win."

Hey Chris- way to go in hosting, in succession, Xenophobes, Islamophobes and Homophobes. Now go marry an immigrant, gay Muslim.

    • can we get

cites or sources on these? i don't doubt they made the statements, i just want to make sure i can reproduce it.

by the way, again, don't try feeding the xenophobe claim w/o widespread documentable evidence

  3. Again

with the homophob???? Being against gay marraige does not make you a homophobe. Goodness you claim to be so enlightened, yet call anyone who doesnt agree with what you believe in to be a phobe of some sort. To me thats the true narrow minded thinking.

As well, have you looked at Santorum's overall record as a Senator. Its pretty damn good, as a matter of fact good enough for the Democratic gov. of the state to even give praise. In todays highly partisan world that rings very loudly.

  4. sources for those

is the article bwog linked to.

and the minutemen are, if nothing else, xenophobic.

  5. V47

is like some sort of V for Vendetta play! Fucking awesome!

Yo V- tear those motherfuckers up!!!

  6. if i

remember correctly, those quotes are from the article that bwog cited as using that shoebat is nuts.

i don't know anyting about this guy, but it's safe to say that if kulawik is behind it, and lionpac won't touch it, then its gotta be a low blow.

  7. these

three ex terrorists aren't even closed to as bad as finkelstein. and their main intention is to explain the mindset of terrorists (you folks also curiously refuse to mention theres an ex neo nazi coming too)

  8. duh

v is for the stupid movie and 47 is likely for the 1947 un approval of partition and creation of israel.

just great. as long as this v doesn't blow shit up it still cant get worse than minutemen

    • V47

      Wrong and wrong.

I didn't even watch that movie. The year 1947 is a good guess though. Think Green and Yellow. Look for the first letter of the alphabet, you will find the answer standing tall.

  9. V47

It actually stands for India's victory (V) in Kashmir in 1947

  10. but...

islam == terrorism 95% of the time. here come the -phobe slurs...come on, bring it people, i know you can't stand to hear a dissenting opinion.

Greek General Marcos Vafiadis took power in 1947

  14. Flapjack Slim

anybody else bothered by the fact that the GOP apparently can't produce a single independent thinker who isn't an EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN?? These kids are playing into the hands of an obsolete segment of humanity. Mohammed, Jesus, Buddha, whatever--the messages are ALL equally valid, and infused with a yearning for peace and compassion. It's when you fuck them up with religion that it all goes equally awry. Pro-philosophy, anti-god. Now excuse me while I read about th evils of warfare and preemptive aggression as taught in the Qu'ran.

  15. Ron Lewenberg

"Greek General Marcos Vafiadis took power in 1947."
Oh, so you are a communist who preffered that Greeks be slaughtered en mass in an insane desire to change human nature.

"anybody else bothered by the fact that the GOP apparently can't produce a single independent thinker who isn't an EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN??"
    When did David Horowitz convert?
    Isn't Santorum a Catholic?

"These kids are playing into the hands of an obsolete segment of humanity. Mohammed, Jesus, Buddha, whatever--the messages are ALL equally valid, and infused with a yearning for peace and compassion."
    And you call us ignorant?
I'll admitt that I have not read to many Buddhist tests, but I have read the Koran and Christian Scriptures. Have you read anything other than new age platitudes?

    • Flapjack Slim

I will stand by my statement. Religion is obsolete. If it works for you, fine. But advocating its spread, or attempting to fuse it into contemporary political or social discourse, is irresponsible and foolish. As I already said, Ron, I have read extensively from every religious movement I've mentioned--and I find the experience invaluable. I simply abhor the idea that these texts are somehow anything more than ideas.

  16. V47

I love the fact that most of you Americans are so politically-disabled that you have to put everything into your retarded two-party perspective.

    God Bless America!!!

  17. Barry

fucking Goldwater. Mitt Romney. Rudy Guliani.

BTW, Clinton used jesus references more often than Bush does.

I always think that the "purple" colorbox check thing is actually purple. Am I colorblind?

  18. pssht

*I always think the "purple" colorbox check thing is actually pink. Does anyone else have this problem? Bwog should get rid of the purple colorbox, waaaaay to confusing.

  19. bwog

just heard the shoebat event has been cancelled

    any news?

  20. V47

If they cancelled the Shoebat event,
    THE TERRORISTS HAVE WON!!!

  21. you had your

    15 minutes of fame V47

w/ no shoebat, you can go back to your cave

    • V47

No-one cares about the fame. It is about a symbol, it is about an ideal.

There will always be something to protest against. With people like Kulawik, I don't even have to think hard.

47 clearly stands for hitman codename 47.

Man! I kinda wish I thought about that, what a great game that was. This is the closest guess so far though, keep up the good work.

      Once again:
Think Green and Yellow. Look for the first letter of the alphabet, you will find the answer standing tall.

      • Umm

OK, first letter of the alphabet is A. "Think green and yellow". Oakland Athletics Baseball Club is known commonly as "the A's" and have green/yellow uniforms. Also, in 1947 Connie Mack led the A's to their first winning season in 14 years. So....are you like the pro-Palestinian Barry Zito or something?

  22. gaping anus

47 clearly stands for hitman codename 47.

  23. i don't get it

What's the point of mentioning Baruch Goldstein on the sign? Of course he would have been invited but he's dead!

    • What?

Of course he would've been invited? So the CU Republicans would've invited a right-wing maniac who murdered 29 innocent people at a religious shrine if he were still alive? Okay, I think that says a lot.

Anyway, V47 probably stands for either the fact that the UN voted to partition Palestine between Arabs and Jews in 1947, or the fact that India and Pakistan were victorious and became independent countries that year.

    • Sprinkles

      *Applause*

I love you, man (or woman).

  24. Ron Lewenberg

Excuse me, but the event is for EX-Terrorists who have renounced Violence!

Why claim that the CR's would have invited an unrepentant Benjamin/Baruch Goldstien? Because you don't care about facts.

  25. V47

I care about the fact that your people built a shrine glorifying Baruch Goldstein on his gravesite.

    http://www.geocities.com/dr_b_goldstein/kever.htm

  26. and..

"kach" of course sounds like a person with a new york accent saying "cock" (only with an "a" in it--the first letter of the alphabet), which normally "stands tall" but if you have a venereal disease might turn GREEN AND YELLOW

    eh? eh?

  27. uhhh

    http://www.geocities.com/dr_b_goldstein/grav.htm

JERUSALEM (AP) -- The grave of a Muslim cleric was found desecrated Monday with red paint and swastikas, an apparent act of revenge for the dismantling of a shrine to Baruch Goldstein, a Jewish settler who killed 29 Muslims worshippers.

A group calling itself "Friends of Baruch Goldstein" claimed responsibility for desecrating the grave of Izzedine al Qassam, who was killed in 1935 while fighting against British rule of Palestine, police spokeswoman Linda Menuhin said.

A shrine at Goldstein's grave in the Jewish West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba was dismantled last week by the Israeli army. The shrine had become a magnet for Jewish extremists who called Goldstein a hero for killing 29 worshippers in a Hebron mosque in 1994 before being bludgeoned to death by the crowd.

In response to the dismantling of the shrine, Goldstein supporters threatened to deface the grave of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in Jerusalem. Police have posted guards at the grave of Rabin, who was assassinated in November 1995 by an ultranationalist Jew opposed to his land-for-peace deals with the Palestinians.

Qassam's grave is located in a small Muslim cemetery in the town of Nesher, near the northern Israeli port city of Haifa. The Islamic militant group Hamas has named its military wing after Qassam.

Menuhin said "Baruch Goldstein" was written on Qassam's grave, which was also defaced with swastikas. Three nearby graves were also desecrated, she said.

Nouman Barieh, a member of the Islamic Trust in Israel, said that there will be no revenge attacks against Jewish cemeteries.

"We are not interested in going down to this level," said Barieh on Israel radio.

    --------
So not only are right-wing Israelis defacing graves, but they're doing so with Swastikas?

    • Ron Lewenberg

Sure there are a handful of extremist Israelis, who belong to the ILLEGAL Kahane Chai/Kach movement.
They have committed theological idolitary and political suicide by extoling Goldstien.

These are people who are not accepted by the serious nationalist movements in Israel (Betar, Tekhuma, and Moledet).

On the other hand, Arabs who kill Jewish civilians (as well as Arab innocents) are idolized in Palestinian society, schools, and media. Their families recieve donations from political parties and supporters from through out the Muslim world.

Those responsible for desecrating the grave of Izz a-Din al Qassam, an Islamist terrorist and namesake of the military wing of HAMAS, are doubly idiotic. Aside from being an inflammatory action, which annoys Israelis, they used the wrong symbols.

Al Qassam was an ally of the Grand Mufti, Hajj Mohammad Amin al-Husayni. Al-Husayni was an ally of the Nazis since 1933, who actively joined ther genocidal campaign against Jews. After his attempts to help the Nazis by creating Arab revolts, the Mufti raised troops for the Nazis. Husseini raised the Bosnian Hanjar SS Division (13th) and the SS Skanderbeg comprised of Albanian Muslims.

No wonder V 47 is so ticked off at the YR's. They are bringing in traitors cause of an Islamist Judenfrei Middle East.

  28. Joke

Islam was terrorism 95 percent of the time then the world would be in big trouble, unlivable, considering its 1 *billion* or so muslims. What idiots. Not that this quality of guests is surprising.

  29. lets keep

this at 47 posts in honor of v47.

    fuck.

  30. whoops

You know who else had a real close relationship with the Nazis?

The Betar, the revisionist Zionist youth group, were protected and supported by the Gestapo and the SS in Germany throughout the 1930s. They had also had units active in Italy which were funded and protected by the Mussolini regime.

Jabotinsky's followers were, generally, extremely sympathetic to the fascists throughout the 1930s. In fact, the Betar, which exists to this day, continued to use the fascist salute through the 1950s.

The Palestinians, of course, were opposed to colonialism and saw Zionism as a colonial venture. It's not suprising that in their opposition to British colonialism, the most conservative section of Palestinian society would identify with their competitors, the Germans.

The zionists, though, have a bit more 'splaining to do.

jews had of course lived in historical Palestine alongside Christians and Muslims for more than a thousand years, without much in the way of problems.

    but nice try, buddy

    • The Betar

were instrumental in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprisings. You're little spiel is so factually inaccurate (not to mention unsourced) that it's incredible.

and yet you think adding 'nice try, buddy' actually validates your wholesale likes

      "

The Revisionist Zionist groups chose to work within the legal systems of even unpalatable and evil regimes. The idea was to not give the anti-Semites another excuse to hurt Jews.
Since anti-semites wanted to either kill or expell Jews, trying to ensure that Jews had a place to go was both humanitarian and ideologically useful.
We don't all believe that virtue is defined as going into the cattle cars with a smile as you would have us untermenchen do.

      "
Jabotinsky's followers were, generally, extremely sympathetic to the fascists throughout the 1930s. In fact, the Betar, which exists to this day, continued to use the fascist salute through the 1950s."
The "facist salute" does not exist. Rather it was one example of the old Roman Salute. This same salute, a chosen by the socialist Reverend BNellamy, was used in the us from 1890 until World War 2 during the US pledge of Allegence.
Siome Revisionist Zionists were sympathetic to other anti-communist nationalists. Let us also remember that many American New Dealers were sympatheic to fascist economic policy.
      What is your point?

      "
The Palestinians, of course, were opposed to colonialism and saw Zionism as a colonial venture. It's not suprising that in their opposition to British colonialism, the most conservative section of Palestinian society would identify with their competitors, the Germans."
While some did by into your reactionary anti-colonialism, others were simply Islamists who saw Jewish autonomy as an affront to Islam. Jews are to be dhimmi, convert, or die. To have an independent Jewish state would call into question the rational of Muslim theological supersession, Arab chauvanism, and the continued occupation by Arabs of land that they believe God once gave to the Jews.
I would aos remind you these conservative elements included immigrants from elsewhere in the Arab world, set on stealing Jewish poperty. Hence the Hebron pogrom of 1929!

      "
jews had of course lived in historical Palestine alongside Christians and Muslims for more than a thousand years, without much in the way of problems."

Are you ignorant or a liar? Or are you an Islamist who defines peace as submission?
Jews lived under foreign occupation as a defeated people, subject ot theologically mandated "Jim Crow" like laws.
The Jews of Yemen lived their before Mohammed was born. Yet they have lived in virtual dervitude until the 1960's. The cause was not Israel. It was Israel who saved them!

"There are any number of sources for this information about the Betar. Personally I like Tom Segev's "The Seventh Million.""
I personally don't by "facts" from commies whose life mission is to destry Zionism. Segev has been called on convenient lies, but Islamsts, Nazis, and Commies still love him.
I also find it amusing that you take the words of an anti-Israeli communist as gospel, but don't have the courage to listen to former Muslim terrorists.

      "
Once when a group of SS men attacked a Betar summer camps, their superiors later disciplined them. As compensation, the ban against Betar members wearing their brownshirts was lifted. After the war, they changed them to blackshirts. How nice!"

While communists were colluding with Nazis to Kill Jews, Betaris were endangering themselves to save Jews. What else do you have?

"It's not surprising, really when you thin about it, that the Nazis were generally sympathetic to Zionism. Both groups wanted to rid Europe of Jews, and found anti-semitism to be natural. As Eichmann said, if he had been Jewish he would have been a rabid Zionist..."
As I said anti-Semites wanted Jews gone. Why not work to make thjis a matter of emmigration rather than genocide?
As for Eichmann, he was a deranged nationalist and a public liar. It was not prudent for the Nazis to admit their full genocidal plans.

"Only if you conflate zionism and judaism like both zionists and anti-semites do. The Nazis hated jews, but were sympathetic to the zionists political project."

I suppose that Jews don't pray for a restoration of Israel thrice daily? Oh, wait. We do.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and offer that you are merely ignorant of rpeated attempts between 40BCE and 1947CE to retake Israel from foreign occupation and colonization? Look up the Great Jewish Revolt, the revolt against Hadrain, the Bar Kochba revolt, the revolt of 617CE, David Al Roy...
Zionism was merely the liberal nationalist reinvention of a theological mandate and centuries old dream.

"They weren't unique in that regard. It was the same with Von Plehve, and other Russian Czarist ministers at the turn of the century. These people organized pogroms that killed thousands of Russian jews and also met with/was sympathetic to Theodore Herzl and other Zionist leaders."
The Czarists wanted to expell 1/3, Kill 1/3, and conver 1/3. Why shouldn't Jews have worked to keep Jews alive?
I would also remiond you that many Zionists were also forming protection units against the Cossaks. Just because you get off on Jewish death, don't presume it to be virtuous.

"t was the left they really hated, and part of the way that Zionists always sold Zionism was as a way to divert jews from the revolutionary movements in which they played a disproportionate role."
Those evil Zionists standing against your beloved Marxism. I almost forgot just how much Marx hated Jews and saw the solution for the Jewish question to be the end of Judaism and Jewishness. This is less bloody than the Nazi Final solution, but both end in the termination of Judaism.

Would the communist or Islamist anti-Semite hinding behind a screename, care to try again?

Well, in case anyone still needed confirmation, we now know that there are lunatics of every race, religion, color, gender, sexuality, political leaning, you name it, there's someone crazy in it.

    Who would have thought.

  32. Unsourced?

There are any number of sources for this information about the Betar. Personally I like Tom Segev's "The Seventh Million."

It's a good book, though I don't agree with all of it.

  33. Betar

For example, German Betar, or Herzlia, as it was renamed in the 1930s was allowed to continue its activities in Nazi Germany: camps, meetings, sports, putting out literature, etc.

Once when a group of SS men attacked a Betar summer camps, their superiors later disciplined them. As compensation, the ban against Betar members wearing their brownshirts was lifted. After the war, they changed them to blackshirts. How nice!

It's not surprising, really when you thin about it, that the Nazis were generally sympathetic to Zionism. Both groups wanted to rid Europe of Jews, and found anti-semitism to be natural. As Eichmann said, if he had been Jewish he would have been a rabid Zionist...

  34. Only if you conflate

zionism and judaism like both zionists and anti-semites do. The Nazis hated jews, but were sympathetic to the zionists political project.

They weren't unique in that regard. It was the same with Von Plehve, and other Russian Czarist ministers at the turn of the century. 35. right

wow, one jew killed a bunch of muslims--- wrong wrong wrong-- but this becomes a huge issue. i dont understand? who ever claimed that no jews do immoral things? so are u trying to say that its ok for islamic terrorists to do so-- are they held to a different standard? is that what it comes down to?

  36. nothing

to add to the above comment, sounds like a frustrated individual, but any more info about shoebat coming or not? i would certainly not blame him if he was scared to!

  40. Shoebat isn't coming

because Public Safety won't allow his posse to join him, a la minutemen. he doesn't feel safe w/o them.

  41. shoebat

event is still on. There are certain student groups like the dems and MSA who are actively trying to stop people from going and its likely their leaders who're trying to float the event's cancelled idea. What's said is Sakib, the head of SGB, is actively encouraging people to not attend and protest the event

to be clear though the event is STILL ON. if you don't have an rsvp dont worry, come to teh door if you have a cuid at like 7 and you'll get admission

  42. i dug deep

and found sakib was to blame for the extinction of the dinosaurs. keep digging and you'll find it.
