The Lions stepped up their game this weekend and hit some major milestones in the season: a seventh consecutive win, a first Ivy League victory, a spot in the ECAC finals, and more. Men’s Swimming & Diving took down Princeton in the final home meet of the season for their seventh straight win as they head into the ECAC Championships and the Ivy League Championships in the coming weeks. Of the many kick-ass swims of the day, speedy sophomore David Jakl tallied three wins in the 200 butterfly, 200 backstroke, and 100 butterfly. At the Tennis ECAC Championships, the Lions advanced to the finals after sophomore and No. 60-ranked Winston Lin came back from 0-4 in the third set to upset Princeton’s No. 3-ranked Matija Pecotic, 3-6, 6-0, 6-4. Women’s Basketball picked up their first Ivy League win against Brown on Friday as the Men’s team dropped two road games to Brown and Yale over the weekend. Wrestling pummeled Princeton in a special meet held at the New York Athletic Club.
