On Wednesday, Governor Jerry Brown (finally) imposed mandatory water restrictions in California. Brown mandated that each town is to reduce its water usage by 25%. This historical drought has left the Northern Sierra mountain range’s snowpack, the main water source for the state of California, at an all time low of 16% of its average amount.
