There’s a light at the end of the tunnel! All you need to do to reach it is … figure out your life’s purpose

Sophomore year is a time of motivation slumps, apathy towards classes, and fervent wishing that you could just snap your fingers and be 21 already. Unfortunately, it’s also the time in which you’re going to have to make the most important decision of your college career: what is your Hungarian order? Wait, no, sorry – the second most important decision of your college career: what is your major?

Is arguing about politics for four years the life for you? Would you rather aggressively mark up Shakespearean plays? Do you want to spend your days in a lab coat, peering through micropipettes? Have you made a decision, but no solid plan for how you’re going to go about getting all of those requirements? Or do you just honestly have no idea? Whichever stage at the major-deciding process you’re at, CCSC is here to help, with a CC Major Selection Info Session tomorrow at 8pm in Mathematics 207.

This event will feature CSA (Center for Student Advising) and CCE (Center for Career Education) giving short presentations about the major selection process, as well as two panels of junior and senior CC students offering advice on the same topic. And don’t worry – they won’t throw you off a bridge if you don’t know what you want in life.
