Happening in the World: On Tuesday, Israeli police forces released a statement that there is enough evidence to indict prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust in two separate instances. Netanyahu says the claims are “baseless.” Either way, it could take months before the attorney general’s office decides if he should face charges. (BBC).

Happening in the US: A week after the resignation of staff secretary Rob Porter, after revelations of a history of spousal abuse, President Trump has finally commented on the situation that has left the White House in chaos. He informed us that he is “totally opposed” to spousal abuse, which is good to know, obviously, but something I hope it didn’t take him a week to figure out. (NYT)

Happening in NYC: The restaurant chain Sugar Factory will be opening a Museum of Candy in Chelsea this summer. Among other features, the museum will have a dessert market, 15 “experiential rooms” (whatever that means), the world’s largest gummy bear, and, most importantly, places to taste the candy.
