Happening in the US: R. Kelly’s bond has been set at $1 million following charges that he sexually assaulted four women from 1998 to 2010. He is required to surrender his passport and he is not allowed any contact with anyone under 18 years old. (CNN)

Happening in NYC: An off-duty MTA conductor allegedly punched a 40-year old woman in the face during an argument early Saturday morning. While it is not known what they were arguing about, he has been charged with assault. (NBC New York)
