Happening in the World:
Samsung just unveiled their newest phone, which is, (surprise!) foldable. Didn’t know we needed that, but apparently we do! The phone is set to drop in approximately two months for around $2,000 — the things we do for luxury. Also, Apple, do better.
Happening in the US:
‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett has been charged with a felony for “disorderly conduct/filing a false police report.” He is thought to have payed brothers to harass him on the street and stage an attack.
Happening in NYC:
A glimpse of hope in the midst of this awful New York weather: two dogs were heroically saved by firefighters during an UWS fire yesterday. God bless the FDNY.
Happening on Campus:
It’s that glorious time of the year again: Spring Break is just around the corner, it’s slowly creeping above the 40 degree mark, and Bacchanal is in sight (finally). Battle of the Bands 2019 hosted by Bacchanal will take place this Saturday, 9 pm-12 am, in the Lerner Party Space. Come through to hear some of Columbia most talented battle it out.
