New York City is packed with amazing culture and inspiring art, but sometimes it’s difficult to break the Morningside-bubble and experience it all first-hand. “Where Art Thou” is a weekly guide to interesting and notable lectures, events, and performances for the literary/musically/theatrically-inclined on campus.

On Campus:

• WHAT TEAM?! Find out tonight! At 8 PM at the Glicker-Milstein theater, 70 tired actors and production team members have labored for exactly 1 day to bring you High School Musical, CMTS’ 2018 24-Hour Musical. $3 tickets. • This Friday, Feb. 22 in Pupin 420, Colloquia is hosting a documentary screening and panel discussion entitled Islam and the Future of Tolerance. The documentary surrounds the public clash between Islamist-turned-liberal-Muslim Maajid Nawaz, and atheist philosopher Sam Harris. RSVP here.
• Next Saturday, Feb. 23, the Columbia Hindu Students Organization is hosting Classical Night on Lerner 5. This event will feature classical dance and music performances based on the Ramayana scripture. Food & drink provided!

Off Campus:

• On Monday, Symphony Space on 95th and Broadway is hosting the 2019 Cutting Edge Concerts New Music Festival: New Visions of Cherished Classics. Uniting imaginative themes and diverse cultures, this year’s program features Eastern Orthodox Byzantine chanting, an opera based on Gulliver’s Travels, and more. Tickets $20.
• This Wednesday at 7 and 9 PM, head down to the Sheen Center on Bleecker Street for Haunted Files, an evening of immersive theater recreating the history of scientific racism and eugenics in America. Featuring a post-show panel with experts and creators of the project.
