Happy first day of no class!! In the spirit of no longer having to set the first of your thirteen alarms before 10 am, Bwog has some quick tidbits for whenever you do decide to wake up.

Bwogline: Yesterday, a volcano erupted on White Island off the coast of New Zealand, killing at least five people, hospitalizing 31, and leaving many others missing. The volcano was known to be live but deemed safe to visit, which seemed great because the local economy relies on the large amount of tourists undeterred by warnings of the volcano’s activity. (NYT)

Study Tip: Take breaks when you need to!!!! If you are super tired or distracted, you’re better off taking a nap and recharging than forcing yourself to memorize a bunch of stuff your overly tired brain will be unable to process anyway. That’s biology, bro.

Music: Stay High by Brittany Howard is an excellent morning song to ease you into your first day of reading week! It’s impossible not to feel content listening to Howard sing so smoothly and cheerfully about the good times she’s had and those still yet to come.

Procrastination Tip: Spend some time away from your homework while getting rid of all of your extra swipes by eating lunch with those friends you’ve been meaning to catch up with all semester!

Overseen/Overheard: Man behind me in Butcaf scrEAMING into his phone, which is on speaker. Please…don’t be like this man. The door is sO close.
